WWE Clash of Champions returns on September 27.
WWE made the event official during Payback. The company actually ran a video package that had the event listed for September 20 before Michael Cole noted that the event was set for September 27.
As previously reported, WWE listed the date of the event for September 27 as part of their contractual agreement with the Amway Center. PWInsider reported that the event was originally scheduled for September 20, but WWE made the decision to push it back a week.

This marks the fourth time in five years that WWE has used the Clash of Champions title for a pay-per-view event. Last year's Clash was held on September 15 from Charlotte, NC and was headlined by Seth Rollins defending the WWE Universal Title against Braun Strowman.
