WWE provides its fans with a Cody Rhodes injury update.
On the October 23 episode of WWE Raw, Damian Priest smashed Cody Rhodes' ankle with a steel chair while his ankle was trapped inside a second steel chair and up against the steel steps. Priest had the help of JD McDonagh as well.
Unfortunately for Cody, Michael Cole announced later in the show that he had suffered "an ankle injury." The extent of the injury was not clarified.

Earlier in that same segment, Rhodes and Priest agreed to meet one-on-one at WWE Crown Jewel. Fans can learn more here.
Despite the injury he suffered, Rhodes would gallantly make his way down to the ring with a taped-up angle in the closing segment of the show to save Jey Uso from the same fate that befell him earlier in the evening. Cody Rhodes even got the better of Damian Priest in a brawl, almost Pillmanizing Priest's ankle, and ended the night standing tall in the face of adversity.
