WWE Backlash is back.
During the Money In The Bank pay-per-view, WWE officially announced that the Backlash pay-per-view will return on June 14. No location for the event was announced.
Fightful Select previously reported in March that the event would return on June 14 in Kansas City, but the recent coronavirus pandemic forced WWE to move all of its events to the WWE Performance Center.

Last year there was no Backlash show with the most recent one taking place in 2018. That show saw AJ Styles defend the WWE Championship against Shunsuke Nakamura and Roman Reigns take on Samoa Joe. The 2017 edition saw Jinder Mahal defeat Randy Orton to win the WWE Championship.
