CM Punk is a free agent in the WWE world.
Michael Cole confirmed on WWE Raw that CM Punk is a "free agent," which allows him to appear on WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown.
Punk will appear on Friday's WWE SmackDown, and Cole teased that WWE Raw GM Adam Pearce and WWE SmackDown GM Nick Aldis will make their offers. Punk was billed as the "hottest free agent" in the company.

Punk returned to WWE at Survivor Series, and thus was not part of the 2023 WWE Draft, which took place at the end of April and beginning of May.
Randy Orton was billed as a free agent following his return at WWE Survivor Series. He ultimately chose to sign with WWE SmackDown on the December 1 episode of WWE SmackDown.
