WWE is making changes to the presentation.
At WWE SummerSlam, the broadcast team noted that the broadcast would include a new "ref cam", which was brought to fans by sponsor Wheatley American Vodka. The ref cam was first utilized during the opening match, where Liv Morgan defeated Rhea Ripley to retain the WWE Women's Championship. WWE used the camera in replays throughout the match.

As of this writing, there is no word on whether the ref cam will just be used at WWE SummerSlam, or if it will be a recurring part of WWE programming moving forward.
