Bob Uecker has passed away at age 90.
The Milwaukee Brewers announced the news on social media. Uecker was recognized as Mr. Baseball, and began his career in 1962 as a catcher for the Milwaukee Braves. After his baseball career, the Milwaukee Brewers brought him in as radio play-by-play announcer in 1971.
Uecker was a celebrity guest at WrestleMania III, where he was the ring announcer for Andre The Giant vs. Hulk Hogan, and WrestleMania IV, where he famously got his neck rung by Andre The Giant.
He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2010.
Uecker was the announcer in "Major League" with the famous call of "Juuuust a bit outside."
