WWE's SummerSlam Kickoff show featured Elias in the middle of the ring -- taunting the fans inside of the Scotiabank Arena about their sports teams and Kawhi Leonard's recent departure from the Raptors. As Elias continued on, the theme music of WWE Hall Of Famer Edge hit over the arena to a thunderous reaction. Edge soon made his way into the ring and speared Elias.

The last documented occasion that Edge got physical in a wrestling ring was in 2011 before he had to step away from in-ring competition via cervical spinal stenosis.
