WWE is returning to Saudi Arabia, and SmackDown will be held there for the first time.
During WWE WrestleMania XL Night Two, WWE announced that SmackDown will be held live in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on May 24. Additionally, the WWE King And Queen of the Ring premium live event will emanate from Saudi Arabia on May 25. This will mark the first time that SmackDown will be held in Saudi Arabia. Both events will mark WWEs return to Saudi Arabia for the first time since WWE Night of Champions 2023.

The King of the Ring tournament was last held in 2021, and Xavier Woods emerged victorious. The first-ever Queen of the Ring tournament was also held in 2021, and Zelina Vega won. Both tournament finals were held at WWE Crown Jewel in 2021.
