WWE Network Releasing New '24' Special About Edge's Return & New 'Untold' Chronicling HBK/Angle Feud

WWE Network will look to continue the trend of Ruthless Aggression heavy content with two upcoming additions to its library. One will follow the return of one of the era's greatest superstars and the other will follow one of the top rivalries during the Ruthless Aggression era’s peak.

According to WWE Network News, WWE will air a new episode of its 24 series revolving around the return of Edge following nine years away due to injury. WWE 24: Edge: The Second Mountain is set to premiere on the WWE Network immediately following the second night of Wrestlemania 36 on Sunday, April 5

Edge, who returned at the Royal Rumble event, will see action at WrestleMania 36 when he faces one of his former friends and rivals throughout the entirety of the Ruthless Aggression era, Randy Orton, in a Last Man Standing match.

In addition to WWE 24: Edge, WWE will be airing a new episode of its Untold series surrounding the Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle rivalry from 2005. The two men engaged in a mat classic at WrestleMania 21, before continuing the feud Vengeance 2005 later in the summer, having an Iron Man Match at WWE Raw: Homecoming in October 2005.

WWE Network News provided the following synopsis for the upcoming special.

At WrestleMania 21, two of the greatest technical wrestling artists of all time created a masterpiece. Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle reminisce about the match Angle calls the best of his career.

WWE Untold: Angle vs. HBK is set to premiere on Friday, April 3, 2020.
