WWE Not Advertising Any Of Their Female Superstars For The 'Greatest Royal Rumble' Event

WWE's massive event following WrestleMania will not be featuring any of their female superstars.

WWE announced that they will be hosting an event entitled the 'Greatest Royal Rumble' which will air on the WWE Network on April 27th from the King Abdullah International Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The sports-entertainment company is presenting a stacked match card with a 50-man Royal Rumble match and also, seven men's championship matches. The WWE Championship, Universal Championship, Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship, SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships, RAW Tag Team Championships and the WWE Cruiserweight Championship will all be defended on the same card.

Two titles that will not be defended on the show are WWE's Women's Championships. The company has not advertised any of their female superstars for the event. Laws and tradition in Saudi Arabia that have to do with social gatherings or events, much like the 'Greatest Royal Rumble' do not allow for women to be around non-kin men and is extremely rare if it happens. Companies in Saudi Arabia would even have to go the extra mile of creating an all-female environment if they were to hire women.

Back in December, Sasha Banks & Alexa Bliss became the first two women to wrestle in the UAE.

Fans of the product showed their displeasure via social media about there not being women's matches being featured on the 'Greatest Royal Rumble' PPV.
