A brand new pay-per-view is headed to the WWE schedule.
Many WWE pay-per-view names are locked into the schedule and are traditions that have been running for years.
However, 2022 will kick off with a brand new WWE pay-per-view tradition as WWE presents ‘Day 1’ live on Saturday, January 1, 2022. The pay-per-view will emanate from Atlanta, Georgia, the first time Atlanta will play host to a WWE pay-per-view in 6 years.
The name reveal was released via a local commercial and was shared on Twitter by a fan.

WWE made the initial announcement that they would be hosting an event from Atlanta Georgia on New Year's Day during their time at the Rolling Loud Festival. WWE Day 1 voice trademark by WWE on Thursday, August 19. Learn more about the trademark here.
