WWE has provided an injury update on Riddle and Randy Orton.
In the main event of tonight's show, RK-Bro and The Usos faced off in a Tag Team Championship Unification Match. With the help of Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns, Jimmy and Jey emerged victoriously, adding more gold to The Bloodline's collection.
During the match, it was noted that Riddle had injured his hip. Matters were made worse after the bout when Roman and The Usos continued to attack the former Raw Tag Team Champions. Most notably, Orton had steel steps rammed into his chest, while Jey Uso jumped off the top rope and onto a downed Riddle on the announce desk.
Now, per WWE, "As a result of a vicious attack by The Bloodline in the wake of SmackDown's Tag Team Title Unification Match, Riddle has suffered a bruised hip and lower back and both he and Randy Orton are undergoing a medical evaluation."
