The show starts off with a 9/11 tribute and a moment of silence in remembrance of the day.
Roman Reigns vs. Jason Jordan
The match begins with a test of strength that neither competitor wins, Jordan looks for some amateur wrestling holds before Reigns cracks him with a few rights. Jordan tries fighting back and Reigns drops him with a right, Jordan picks up Reigns and nails him with an overhead release suplex. Jordan follows Reigns around the ring while landing some strikes, Jordan hurts Reigns further with a few hard Irish whips into the corner. Reigns recovers and drops a charging Jordan with a clothesline, Reigns traps Jordan in the corner while landing clothesline strikes.
Reigns goes for a superman punch and Jordan counters by locking him in a cross face, Reigns escapes to the arena floor as we go to a commercial break. We return to see Jordan nailing Reigns with a few strikes until Reigns drops him, Reigns then catches Jordan with an Irish whip into the corner. Reigns would then nail Jordan with a suplex for a near fall, Reigns slows things down by holding Jordan in the chin lock. Jordan breaks free and Reigns nails him with a Samoan drop for a near fall, Reigns reapplies the chin lock to Jordan. Jordan breaks free again and he nails Reigns with an exploder suplex, Jordan sends Reigns to the corner before landing a clothesline for a near fall.
Reigns and Jordan start exchanging blows in the middle of the ring, Jordan then drops Reigns with some forearm strikes and a drop kick for a near fall. Jordan catches a winging Reigns with a belly to back suplex for another near fall, Jordan catches Reigns with a pair of northern lights suplexes for another near fall. Jordan reapplies the cross face to Reigns and Reigns breaks free, Jordan goes for a spear and Reigns sends him crashing into the ring post. Reigns then catches Jordan with the Drive By followed by the superman punch, Reigns hits Jordan with a spear for the three count.
Winner: Roman Reigns
After the match, Roman Reigns and Jason Jordan shake hands.
Charly Caruso interviews John Cena, Cena says he has something to say and he makes his way to the ring as we go to a commercial break.
John Cena makes his way to the ring to confront Roman Reigns, Cena grabs a microphone and he hands another to Reigns. Cena talks about how Jason Jordan almost defeated Reigns tonight, Reigns says he has had more great matches in the last two years than Cena has had in his entire career. Cena says he challenges himself every day and then says Reigns feels like he has already made it, Cena says Reigns fails over and over again.
Cena says it is going to be a cakewalk for him when they meet at WWE No Mercy, Reigns says he sold the tickets that Cena used to sell. Reigns says that Cena needs the WWE more than the WWE needs Cena, Reigns also mocks Cena’s acting ability. Cena then mocks Reigns failed drug test from a while back before exiting the ring.
Sasha Banks is shown walking backstage.
Sasha Banks vs. Emma
The match begins with Emma trapping Banks in the corner before just kicking away at her, Banks fights back and drops Emma with a rope assisted arm drag. Banks misses a double knee strike and the competitors exchange roll ups for near falls, Emma then clobbers a charging Banks with a clothesline. Nia Jax makes her way to the ring as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Emma holding Banks in a full nelson. Emma releases the hold to hit Banks with a butterfly suplex for a near fall, Banks fights back and catches Emma with a roll up for a near fall.
Banks then sends Emma face first in the corner before dropping her with clotheslines and a drop kick, Banks then takes Emma down with a head scissors takedown. Emma recovers and she kicks an upside down Banks in the back a few times, Emma crushes Banks with a cross body block in the corner for a near fall. Banks catches Emma in the Bank Statement to force a submission.
Winner: Sasha Banks
Highlights from the Braun Strowman/Big Show Cage Match from last week’s Raw air.
WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman make their way to the ring, Heyman grabsthe microphone and does his usual introductions. Heyman talks about Lesnar defending the WWE Universal Title against Braun Strowman at WWE No Mercy, Heyman says the odds are against Lesnar in the match. Heyman says Strowman will have to rip the WWE Universal Title away from Lesnar, Heyman also wonders if Strowman can beat John Cena as bad as Lesnar did a few years ago at WWE Summerslam. Heyman challenges Strowman to come out and Strowman obliges, Strowman attacks Lesnar and a brawl erupts. Lesnar nails Strowman with a German suplex and Strowman gets right back up, Strowman crushes Lesnar with a choke slam followed by a power slam. Strowman raises the WWE Universal Title to end the proceedings.
Bray Wyatt appears on the Titantron before the next match, he says that he has been watching Goldust for a long time and he says that Goldust is afraid. Wyatt says that Goldust paints his face to protect himself from the truth, much like Finn Balor does.
Goldust vs. Bray Wyatt
The match begins with Goldust nailing Wyatt with a few strikes, Wyatt rolls out of the ring and Goldust drops him with a clothesline. Goldust throws Wyatt back into the ring before eating a clothesline from Wyatt, Wyatt mounts Goldust before assaulting him with strikes. Wyatt misses a running senton bomb and he rolls out of the ring again, Goldust catches Wyatt with a dive off the ring apron. Wyatt gets back in the ring first before throwing Goldust into the ring post, Wyatt then drops a charging Goldust with another clothesline. Wyatt nails Goldust with Sister Abigail for the three count.
Winner: Bray Wyatt
After the match, Bray Wyatt grabs a washrag and he cleans the face paint off of Goldust’s face, Finn Balor charges into the ring and Wyatt makes a hasty retreat.
Charly Caruso interviews Sheamus & Cesaro, Sheamus says they see The Club as a bigger threat than the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions, Cesaro says The Club are a real tag team. Cesaro and Sheamus says they will leave the tag champions beaten at WWE No Mercy, then they call the tag champs selfish and will throw each other to the wolves.
WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose makes their way to the commentary table before the next match. A three way brawl then breaks out between the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions, Sheamus & Cesaro and The Club before the next match begins. WWE officials try to break things up and the brawl continues, things eventually settle down as officials get control.
Raw GM Kurt Angle is talking to Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins, who demands to be in a triple threat tag team match tonight. Angle says they can find tag team partners to face The Club and Sheamus & Cesaro in an 8 Man Tag Match tonight.
A video plays saying Asuka is coming to WWE Raw.
Nia Jax is shown in the locker room when WWE Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss walks in, Alexa complains about the recent happenings in the women’s division. Jax says they aren’t best friends no more and Bliss apologizes for slapping her last week, Jax says she spoke to Raw GM Kurt Angle and she faces Bliss next week on WWE Raw.
Elias is shown walking backstage.
Elias is in the ring and he says that the people who walk with him will make the best decision of their lives, Elias then performs his new song for the fans. Kalisto interrupts the song because he has a match with Elias tonight.
Elias vs. Kalisto
The match begins with Kalisto attacking Elias with some leg kicks, Kalisto then nails a charging Elias with a boot to the face followed by a top rope cross body. Elias rolls out of the ring and Kalisto catches him with a suicide dive, Kalisto tries brings Elias back in the ring and Elias smashes him into the ring apron. Elias brings Kalisto back into the ring before just stomping away on him, Elias then drops Kalisto with a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Elias wrenches away on the arm of a downed Kalisto, Elias lifts Kalisto up by the arm before slamming him back on the mat. Kalisto catches Elias in a roll up from out of nowhere for a near fall, Kalisto follows that up by nailing Elias with a tornado DDT.
Kalisto leaps off the top rope and Elias power bombs him, Elias gets angry and he stomps away on a downed Kalisto. Elias nails Kalisto with Drift Away for the three count.
Winner: Elias
Highlights from the Brock Lesnar/Braun Strowman confrontation from earlier tonight air.
John Cena vs. Braun Strowman
The match begins with Strowman shoving Cena out of the ring, Cena gets back in the ring and Strowman drops him with a clothesline. Strowman then crushes Cena with an avalanche in the corner, Strowman waits for Cena to get up before landing a headbutt. Strowman picks up Cena again before dropping him with a clothesline, Strowman follows that up by choking a downed Cena. Cena fights back by nailing Strowman with a drop kick, Strowman gets up and immediately nails Cena with a drop kick of his own. Strowman catches Cena with another avalanche in the corner, Cena fights back again and Strowman drops him with an axe handle smash.
Strowman traps Cena in the corner while nailing Cena with more strikes, Cena catches a charging Strowman with boots to the face. Strowman recovers and he catches Cena with an overhead slam as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Strowman tossing Cena across the ring. Cena then sends a charging Strowman to the arena floor, Strowman drags Cena out of the ring and he attacks him with more strikes. Cena recovers and he drops Strowman on the ring apron, Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment in the ring and Strowman falls on him for a near fall.
Strowman misses a charge in the corner and Cena then hits him with a side suplex, Cena goes for the 5 Knuckle Shuffle and Strowman counters with a spine buster for a near fall. Strowman misses another charge in the corner and Cena catches him with an Attitude Adjustment that sends Strowman out of the ring. Cena charges at Strowman and Strowman nails him with the ring steps, Strowman grabs the other half of the ring steps and he puts them in the ring. Strowman brings Cena back into the ring before setting up the ring steps, Strowman power slams Cena on the ring steps to cause a DQ.
Winner: John Cena by disqualification
Charly Caruso interviews Roman Reigns, Reigns says he will show him no mercy at WWE No Mercy.
Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins are backstage looking for tag team partners when they run into the Hardy Boyz.
The Miz comes to the ring with Maryse and The Miztourage for an edition of Miz TV, tonight’s special guest is Enzo Amore. The Miz says he and his wife have a special announcement tonight, Maryse announces that she and The Miz are expecting their first child. The Miz promises Maryse that he is going to be there for his child, unlike Raw GM Kurt Angle was for Jason Jordan. The Miz starts a speech and Enzo Amore interrupts him, Enzo does his usual shtick on his way to the ring. Enzo says he wants to come out to celebrate with The Miz and Maryse, The Miz says Enzo doesn’t know when to shut his mouth and that’s why he is disliked in the back.
The Miz says Enzo was demoted to 205 Live because nobody on the main roster can stand him, The Miz talks about how he earned respect after a rough start in the WWE. The Miz says there is a lot of talent in Enzo and he continues to make mistakes, The Miz mocks those who Enzo hangs out with outside of the ring. The Miz calls Enzo a con artist with a couple of catch phrases, Enzo accuses The Miz of copying himself from past WWE stars. Enzo says he is going to win the WWE Cruiserweight Title at WWE No Mercy, Enzo then promises to win the WWE Intercontinental Title from The Miz. Enzo says he wants to fight The Miz right now, The Miz is dedicating his upcoming win to his future child.
Non-Title Match
The Miz (WWE Intercontinental Champion) w/Maryse & The Miztourage vs. Enzo Amore
The match begins with Amore rolling out of the ring and he grabs the microphone to assault Miz, Miz drops Amore with a clothesline on the arena floor. Miz grabs the microphone and he mocks Amore while beating him up, Miz throws Amore back into the ring before climbing to the top rope. Amore crotches Miz and that knocks him off the ropes and to the mat below, Amore grabs the microphone and he questions who the father of his future baby is. Miz beats up Amore and he throws him out of the ring, The Miztourage further beats up Amore to cause a DQ.
Winner: Enzo Amore by disqualification
After the match, The Miztourage beats up Amore further and The Miz hits him with the Skull Crushing Finale afterwards.
Enzo Amore is stumbling around backstage when Neville arrives, Neville laughs at Enzo before walking away.
Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose & The Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff) vs. Sheamus, Cesaro, Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows
The match begins with a massive brawl breaking out with all the competitors in the match, Jeff and Cesaro eventually start the match with Jeff nailing him with a leg drop. Matt tags in and The Hardyz nail Cesaro with some double team maneuvers, Cesaro catches Matt with a European uppercut before tagging Sheamus in. Matt recovers and he uses a clothesline to knock Sheamus out of the ring, Cesaro interferes and Matt sends him out of the ring. Jeff tags in before catching Sheamus and Cesaro with a suicide dive as we go to a commercial break, we return to see Ambrose getting a near fall on Anderson.
Ambrose traps Anderson in the corner while landing some strikes, Gallows tags in and Ambrose assaults him with strikes. Gallows eventually catches Ambrose with a kick to the face that sends him tumbling to the arena floor, Gallows gets Ambrose back into the ring before getting a near fall. Sheamus tags in and he quickly tags in Cesaro as they work over Ambrose in the corner. Sheamus stays in the ring and he applies the chin lock to Ambrose, Ambrose fights back and Sheamus drops him before tagging Gallows in.
Gallows works over Ambrose before tagging Anderson into the match, Anderson reapplies the headlock to Ambrose after landing elbow strikes. Sheamus tags in and he tags Cesaro in before landing a double headbutt on Ambrose, Cesaro puts Ambrose in the chin lock again. Ambrose breaks free and he gets into a striking exchange with Cesaro, Sheamus tags in and he tags Cesaro in before nailing Ambrose with their finisher for a near fall. Matt interferes and he is thrown into the barricade on the arena floor, Anderson tags in and Ambrose drops him with a neck breaker.
Gallows tags in and he knocks Ambrose’s partners off the ring apron, Ambrose then drops Gallows with a clothesline. Sheamus tags in and he misses a charge on Ambrose to crash into the ring post, Cesaro tags in and Ambroe knocks him to the arena floor. Rollins tags in and Anderson gets the tag as well, Rollins quickly cleans house and nails Anderson with a blockbuster. Rollins then hits Gallows with a suicide dive, Rollins then hits Anderson with a springboard clothesline for a near fall. Gallows interferes and he is taken out by The Hardy Boyz, Sheamus and Cesaro exit the match. Ambrose hits Anderson with Dirty Deeds and Rollins gets the three count.
Winners: Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose & The Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff)
