Jessamyn Duke was released by WWE on Wednesday, May 19.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider first reported the news, which was confirmed by Fightful.
Duke had not wrestled for WWE since December 2019 when she teamed with Dakota Kai & Marina Shafir at an NXT live event. She was briefly part of Raw Underground in August 2020, but was once again off television once Raw Underground went by the wayside.
Duke, a former UFC fighter and one of the MMA Horsewomen alongside Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, and Sharif, was signed by WWE in 2018.
Duke had been moved to WWE's gaming side of things outside of an appearance on Raw Underground in the fall of 2020. We're told that she was happy in that spot, and was helping produce content for UpUpDownDown, which Xavier Woods was said to have pushed for.
On the UpUpDownDown channel, Duke was part of BRE Start with Mia Yim, Dakota Kia, and Shayna Baszler. She also does her own gaming streams on YouTube.
