No Way Jose Released By The WWE

No Way Jose’s journey with the WWE began in April of 2015 and now it has come to an end five years later in April of 2020.

Jose joined the WWE in April of 2015, joining the NXT brand and becoming one of the brand’s most popular acts. Jose’s peak with NXT would come at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II, where he suffered a defeat to Austin Aries.

The wrestler would join the Raw Brand the day after ‘Mania 34, but would quickly be relegated to enhancement work and appearances on the syndicated WWE Main Event program. Jose did attempt to qualify for the men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match in 2018, but fell in a triple threat match involving Bobby Roode and Baron Corbin.

A now released Jose also had some success when competing outside of the WWE, as he is a former CWF Mid-Atlantic TV Champion and a former FSPW South Eastern Champion. Jose last appeared on this past week’s Raw, suffering a loss to Bobby Lashley.
