At AEW Worlds End Zero Hour, Jeff Jarrett defeated QT Marshall in a singles match. Later in the show, Jarrett was interviewed backstage. Jay Lethal expressed his excitement, but Sonjay Dutt was clearly upset. Jarrett said that he had been reflecting on his journey in wrestling, and he stated that he would make an announcement about his career at AEW Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen.
