WWE Slammy Award Results 2020: List Of All The Winners In Each Category

This morning, WWE is hosting the 2020 Slammy Awards. It is the first Slammy award show since 2015 and it is the first to be hosted exclusively on WWE's digital platforms.

Below you can see the running tally of the winners in all of their respective categories.

Best WWE 24/7 Championship Pin Of 2020 (Pre-Show presentation):

WINNER: Drew Gulak pins R-Truth while dressed as a member of the janitorial crew

Best Male Superstar of the Year (presented by Shawn Michaels)

WINNER: Drew McIntyre.

In his acceptance speech, he spoke about the pride he takes in WWE continuing on during these uncertain times and said that the award means the world to him and promised that 2021 would be a great year for McIntyre in WWE.

Best Ring Gear of the Year as long as (presented by Snooki)

WINNER: The New Day

Kofi Kingston and Xavier accepted together. They were very cocky in their acceptance before tossing it to Big E. E thanked Main Event Gear and Jonathan Davenport. He was also dressed in the same outfit that he wore during the Sami Awards on SmackDown.

Best Return of the Year (presented by Mick Foley)

WINNER: Edge

Mick Foley accepted for him and R-Truth then made a joke about Edge really coming back to capture his 24/7, 711, I-95 South European Television Championship

Best Musical Performance of the Year (presented by Method Man)

WINNER: Elias

Elias bragged about having the first WWE ThunderDome concert and laughed how there was nobody else in the category because nobody else is in his league, before pitching to Method Man that they should collab.

Best Rivalry of the Year (presented by Demi Burnett)

WINNER: Edge versus Randy Orton

Randy accepted the award and told Edge he was welcome for once again putting him on the map and he was happy to derail his storybook comeback.

Best Female Superstar of the Year (presented by Trish Stratus, who has never won a Slammy Award)

WINNER: Sasha Banks

Sasha cut a very quick acceptance promo where she said the outcome was never in doubt and encouraged people to chase her dream.

Breakout Superstar of the Year (presented by Derek Baker)

WINNER: Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, The Street Profits

The Street Profits thank God and their mothers and the audience.

The crew from The Bump introduced multiple secondary Awards.

Best Male Trash Talker of the Year

WINNER: The Hurt Business

Best Female Trash Talker of the Year:

WINNER: Lacey Evans

Best Social Media Superstar:

WINNER: Bayley

Best Double-Cross the Year:

WINNER: Bayley turns on Sasha

Best WWE Network Documentary of the Year:

Undertaker: The Last Ride

Moment of the year (presented by Ken Jeong)

WINNER: The Undertaker’s Final Farewell

Undertaker, as Mark Calaway, thanked the audience for giving him one last moment to be the character and thank everybody he's worked with for 30 years.

Tag Team of the Year (presented by Clark Duke)

WINNER: The Street Profits

Profits, The first two-time winners today promised to keep the hits coming in 2021.

Match of the Year (presented by Rico and Raini Rodriguez)

Undertaker vs AJ Styles - Boneyard Match at WrestleMania 36.

AJ spoke very genuinely about being honored to be the Undertaker's last match. The Undertaker, once again out of character, thanked the fans and creative and production.

Best Overall Superstar of the Year (presented by Ric Flair)

WINNER: Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre thanks the audience for finally helping them fulfill his destiny of becoming the true chosen one because he's the chosen one of the audience. 

After R-Truth signs off, we get some behind-the-scenes footage of Bayley posing with her two new Awards and laughing at the fans for not voting for her even though she won anyway
