Bad news for WWE SmackDown.
ShowBuzzDaily reports that Tuesday's episode of WWE SmackDown Live drew 1,833,000 viewers, marking a 2019 viewership low for the series. It's also the lowest viewership number since the show moved to Tuesdays. The previous low was on Feb. 5 when the show drew 1,841,000 viewers. That episode was up against Donald Trump's State of the Union Address.
Perhaps the more alarming news is the rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. Tuesday's episode drew a 0.54 rating, a 23% decrease from last week's 0.71 rating in the same demographic. For comparison, the Feb. 5 episode drew a 0.64 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.
SmackDown finished seventh among cable originals, losing out to NBA coverage (two games and the post-game) on TNT, Curse of Oak Island on History, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on BRAVO, and the Bruins vs. Blue Jackets on NBC Sports.
