Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for tonight's edition of WWE Smackdown on FOX!
- We open tonight show with the announcement of Sasha Banks versus Bianca Belair in our main event.
- We go to the stage with Adam and Sonya who will be announcing the draft picks before they announce that Smackdown selects Roman Reigns as their number one pick to keep the Tribal Chief on the blue brand before RAW takes the WWE champion Big E, Smackdown next taking Charlotte Flair before RAW takes Bianca Belair to conclude the first round of the draft.
- We go to the ring for Roman and Paul Heyman as they come out and address Roman's victory over Finn Balor at Extreme Rules where Roman retained ahead of his title defense against Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel before they're interrupted by the aforementioned Lesnar and the two brawl before Brock sends Roman out of the ring with a German suplex and hits the Usos with Germans. Brock then beckons Roman back into the ring before he hits both Uso brothers with an F5 as Roman and Paul look on before the pair leave Brock in the ring as we go to commercial.
Kevin Owens vs Happy Corbin (w/ Riddick Moss)
Kevin attacks Happy as soon as the match starts before clotheslining him over the top rope and down onto the floor before Happy distracts the referee and Riddick chop blocks Kevin before Happy and Riddick laugh as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Kevin making his comeback as he rocks Happy before hitting a tornado DDT for two before Happy rolls Kevin up for two and hits a Deep Six for two before Kevin comes back and hits a cannonball in the corner for two. Kevin then gets distracted by Riddick at ringside before Happy hits a flat liner onto the floor and tosses Kevin back inside before The End of Days for the pin and the win.
Winner: Happy Corbin defeats Kevin Owens via pinfall.
- We go back to the stage for the second round of the draft with Smackdown taking Drew McIntyre, RAW keeping RKO, Smackdown taking New Day, and RAW taking Edge to round out the second round of the draft.
- We get a backstage interview with Drew with his sword where he talks about how he started his career on Smackdown before he left and traveled the world, before saying that he's coming for Roman and the Universal title.
- Edge comes out to the ring to confront Seth Rollins after what he did to Edge several weeks ago which sent him to the hospital where he talks about how he was there on the first episode of Smackdown, and this feels like his home, before saying that he's excited for new opponents he'll face on RAW. We then go to the big screen where Seth is at Edge's house before he walks in and makes himself at home by raiding the fridge before we go to Edge warning his wife to not go back home.
Carmella vs Liv Morgan
Liv goes right after Carmella before Carmella gets out of the ring and puts on a mask before getting back inside and superkicking Liv before hitting a sit-out facebuster before Carmella mocks Liv, the referee now out of the ring at this point as the match never gets started.
Winner: Match never started.
- We go back to the stage for the third round of the draft with Smackdown keeping Corbin and Moss, RAW keeping Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. and their WWE Women's Tag Titles before Smackdown take Hit Row, and RAW keeps Keith Lee to end the round.
New Day & Street Profits vs Dirty Dawgs & Alpha Academy
Kofi and Dolph start the match off before Montez comes in and Dolph goes after his taped up ribs before Chad takes the high flyer Montez down and gets two off of a sunset flip before they run the ropes and Chad locks in an ankle lock that Montez kicks out of. Montez knocks Roode, Ziggler, and Otis off of the apron before tossing Chad out of the ring and Otis catches him when he goes for a diving cross body and drops him across the edge of the apron and into the barricade as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Montez being isolated before he comes back and drops Dolph with an enzuigiri before getting the hot tag to Angelo who knocks Otis off of the apron and drops Roode repeatedly before hitting Chad with an exploder and Roode with a twisting neckbreaker for a near fall that Otis breaks up. Angelo then sends Otis over the top rope before Montez takes him out with a tope and everyone hits a move until Roode hits Angelo with a spine buster for two before New Day double up on Roode for the pin and the win.
Winner: New Day and Street Profits defeat the Dirty Dawgs and Alpha Academy via pinfall.
- We go back to the stage with the first pick of the four round of the draft with Naomi staying on the blue brand, RAW taking The Mysterios, Jeff Hardy going back to Smackdown, and RAW taking Austin Theory to end the fourth and final round of the tonight's draft which will continue Monday on RAW.
- We get a backstage interview with Jeff before he's immediately interrupted by Brock and Jeff gives way to Brock before Brock takes the mic and makes a public announcement where he thanks Paul and announces that he's a free agent and gets to do whatever he wants to do before leaving.
- We go to The Bloodline in the locker room where Roman questions Paul over his loyalty and asks him if they're good friends before asking if Paul has made sure The Bloodline stays intact and Jey and Jimmy stay on the blue brand. Roman then tells Paul to go to RAW Monday and make sure The Usos are drafted to Smackdown before Paul leaves and Roman tells The Usos to go with Paul and make it clear they stay on the blue brand and leave Paul for dead on RAW if they're not.
Sasha Banks vs Bianca Belair
The two lock up as we see that Smackdown Women's champion Becky Lynch has joined commentary before Sasha locks in a standing side headlock and they run the ropes before Sasha hits a head scissors and Bianca runs her over before Bianca hits a military press slam. Sasha sends Bianca face first into the middle turnbuckle before Bianca fights off a back stabber and Sasha counters a KOD into a knee before Bianca turns her inside out and Sasha rolls out of the ring as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Bianca still in control before Sasha counters a superplex and hits a meteora for two before Bianca comes back and woman handles Sasha before hitting a delayed suplex before hitting a moonsault for two and Sasha slaps Bianca before hitting a running meteora in the corner. Bianca fights off a tornado DDT before hitting a normal DDT for two before hitting a frog splash for a near fall before Sasha sends Bianca out of the ring and she gets into a confrontation with Becky on commentary before sending Sasha into the barricade and gets back inside before Becky grabs her braid and Sasha rolls Bianca up off of the distraction for the pin and the win.
Winner: Sasha Banks defeats Bianca Belair via pinfall.
- After the match newest signee Charlotte Flair comes out of nowhere and lays out both Bianca and Sasha as we end the show with Becky and Charlotte standing tall with their respective titles.
