Although WWE's schedule has them taping shows at the WWE Performance Center for the next couple of months, SummerSlam is still listed as taking place at the TD Garden in Boston.
Someone on Twitter that went by the username @BalorClubGuy contacted the TD Garden to inquire about the show's status for August 23. TD Garden responded by saying the venue had not received any word from WWE regarding the event.

A look at the venue's official website has a list of events that have been canceled or postponed due to COVID-19, but SummerSlam wasn't on the list. In addition, the SummerSlam events page on the TD Garden website still has the August 21 episode of SmackDown, an unannounced NXT TakeOver event on August 22 and the August 24 episode of Raw all taking place at the venue.
In the wake of COVID-19, WWE has moved almost all programming in recent weeks to either the WWE Performance Center or at Full Sail University with WrestleMania 36 taking place at the Performance Center.
The 2020 edition of Money In The Bank will feature two Money In The Bank matches, both of which are taking place at WWE Headquarters.
