Tensions continue to rise between Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston.
Xavier Woods has grown increasingly frustrated in recent weeks on WWE Raw. He and Kofi Kingston unsuccessfully challenged for the WWE World Tag Team Championship, and Woods suffered another setback on the October 7th episode of WWE Raw. There, Jey Uso beat him to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Uso refused to shake Uso's hand after the bell. Bron Breakker attacked Uso, and he also hit both Kingston and Woods, who opted not to help Uso, with a Spear.
In a Raw Exclusive, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston argued following Woods' loss and Breakker's attack.
Kofi Kingston: How’re you feeling?
Xavier Woods: Terrible. How’re you?
KK: Same. Hey, I gotta ask you, man. Why wouldn’t you shake Jey Uso’s hand and why wouldn’t you help him when Bron came out and attacked him? What’s going on?
XW: Because I’m tired of it always being on me. It’s always gonna be on me. First, I gotta go out there, I lose to Jey Uso. A match for the Intercontinental Championship. Then, I gotta get up, shake his hand, and thank him for the match? Then on top of that, I gotta go in the ring and make sure that he doesn’t get his ass kicked? When is it not on me anymore, man?
KK: I know that you’re upset, I know it was a big match. I know it was a big opportunity. You’ve been waiting for that chance for a very long time. But Jey Uso is your friend, man. You’re just gonna let Bron come out there and just have his way with him because you’re upset?
XW: That is between him and Breakker. They can handle that like grown men. That has nothing to do with us.
KK: Do you understand that if the shoe was on the other foot and you were out there getting beat up, then Jey would be one of the first ones to come out and help you?
XW: Yeah, but I also remember you saying that I was the QB. I call the play, and you run it. But that just hasn’t been happening so far, has it?
KK: This is what we’re doing now?
XW: I don’t know. I don’t know what we’re doing. I don’t know.
