The Young Bucks On AEW All In Footage Airing: We Were Given A Task By The Boss, Zero Regret

The Young Bucks talk airing the All In footage on AEW Dynamite.

On the April 10 episode of AEW Dynamite, the Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) presented footage of the incident between CM Punk and Jack Perry at AEW All In. In a promo, they highlighted how the incident cost them their match against FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) at the pay-per-view.

Komander Comments On Winning ROH Television Championship

Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, the Young Bucks discussed the decision to air the footage. Matt Jackson noted that old wounds were reopened, and it was only fair to be transparent.

“Since we are wrestling FTR at Dynasty, and with it being the first time doing that since All In London, so many feelings and thoughts came rushing back. Old wounds were reopened. We decided it was only fair to be transparent and honest with our fans. We needed to give them context about why we feel we came up short at All In London. Our bodies were there in the ring wrestling FTR at Wembley, but our minds were in the back with the scapegoat in the entire situation, Jack Perry. The three of us specifically were wronged that night, and I haven’t gotten over that," Matthew Jackson said.

Nicholas Jackon added, "As EVPs, we were given a task for that week by the boss and we did it to the best of our abilities. Zero regret."

Tony Khan recently said that it made a lot of sense to air the All In footage. Check out his comments here.
