Swerve Strickland and Kenny Omega come together.
The April 9 edition of AEW Dynamite opened with a singles contest between Jon Moxley and Katsuyori Shibata. After the match, the Young Bucks hit the ring to come face-to-face with Moxley and Marina Shafir.
After Moxley and Shafir left the ring, Nicholas Jackson spoke first, telling fans to "shut the f up". Nicholas proceeded to explain the motive behind their AEW Dynasty appearance, explaining that they prevented Swerve Strickland from winning the title because of their love for 'Hangman' Adam Page.
Then, Matthew Jackson noted that they attacked Strickland to submit a peace offering to the Death Riders, citing that they have no problem with one another.

Matthew continued on and pitched for the Death Riders and The Elite to join forces, inviting Moxley and his crew back to the ring.
Instead, Kenny Omega hit the ring. Omega proceeded to question the Young Bucks and their actions, joking that they conveniently forgot to help him out at Dynasty. Omega spoke about his mission to bring the feeling back to AEW, noting that the Young Bucks were the ones that almost killed AEW before the Death Riders even existed.

Omega proceeded to enter the ring to fight the Young Bucks, but before he could get far, Kazuchika Okada hit the ring. Before they could corner Omega, Swerve Strickland hit the ring with a chair and chased The Elite out of the ring.
