'Young Rock' Set To Premiere On NBC On 2/16

The series that will chronicle the life of a young Dwayne Johnson in the form of a sitcom finally has an air date.

Today, Deadline announced that “Young Rock” will premiere on Tuesday, February 16th on NBC.

Taking the 8 p.m. slot, the series, which is written by Nahnatchka Khan, creator of the ABC sitcom, "Fresh Off The Boat," and Jeff Chiang, intends to follow the life of a young Dwayne Johnson who is living in Hawaii where he is consistently getting into trouble before they get evicted off of the island and moved to Nashville Tennessee where Johnson says he continued to get in trouble.

Executive producers on the series include Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, and former head writer of WWE Raw, Brian Gewirtz.
