It won't take long for Matt Cardona (formerly Zack Ryder in WWE) to make his AEW in-ring debut.
After saving Cody from the Dark Order on Wednesday's Dynamite, Cardona will team with Cody on next Wednesday's Dynamite to battle John Silver and Alex Reynolds of The Dark Order.
Also announced for the August 5 episode of Dynamite:
* MJF Update. MJF gave his State of the Industry Address on Wednesday and announced his candidacy for AEW Champion, challenging Jon Moxley to a match at AEW All Out.
* Orange Cassidy and Chris Jericho will engage in a debate. The two men are set to rematch on August 12, but before they get there, they will debate all the important topics in wrestling.
* FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood), Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson), and Kenny Omega & Hangman Page vs. Dark Order (Brodie Lee, Colt Cabana, Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, Ten, & Five).
* AEW Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Daby Allin. Moxley and Allin teamed on Wednesday to defeat Ricky Starks & Brian Cage in a tornado tag team match.
