Zelina Vega is doing her home when it comes to SAG and unions.
Last Friday evening, Zelina Vega was released by WWE for what was later described as a "breach of contract." Moments before her release was made official, Vega tweeted that she supported unionization. Vega had been outspoken regarding third-party platform use as she was heavily active on Twitch and had opened an OnlyFans account to show off her various cosplay outfits.
On November 13, SAG-AFTRA President Gabrielle Carteris tweeted in support of Vega and later said SAG-AFTRA would "directly engage with members of this profession to help find ways for them to protect themselves."
It appears as if Vega and SAG-AFTRA made contact on Wednesday.
Powerful conversation with Thea Trinidad @Zelina_VegaWWE today. We support her and others as they work to protect and empower themselves.
