Zilla Fatu: I'd Love To Wrestle John Cena And Put Him On My Resume

Zilla Fatu would love to take on John Cena just as his father, Umaga, did nearly 18 years ago.

John Cena has an extensive history with The Bloodline, but the late Umaga was the first member of the Samoan Dynasty to be a thorn in his side. Cena was actually the first man to defeat Umaga following the debut of that gimmick. Cena scored a pinfall victory on "The Samoan Bulldozer" at WWE New Year's Revolution 2007 and went on to defeat him again in a Last Man Standing Match at the WWE Championship at the 2007 WWE Royal Rumble event.

Zilla Fatu, Umaga's son, was recently asked whether he would like to wrestle John Cena. He told MuscleManMalcolm that he would be honored to do so.

"I have met John Cena before, plenty of times. I would love to wrestle John Cena. Who wouldn't? Just to have the bragging rights to say you wrestled John Cena. I think that's dope. I don't care if I -- Well, nah, I do care if I win. But he's a legend, definitely a Hall of Famer. So, I would love to put him on my resume, for sure."

Zilla then joked that he would like to see Omos also step into the ring with John Cena before John Cena retires at the end of 2025.

No matter what happens, Cena says he will be retiring his jorts in December 2025. However, he plans to participate in at least one more WrestleMania and Royal Rumble before then.

Booker T, another rival of John Cena's from 20 years ago, says he wants to help Zilla Fatu find his place in WWE. Read those comments here.
