AJ Styles says he is always looking for a way to improve.
Since joining WWE in 2016, AJ Styles has had quite a bit of success. On Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia, the host told Styles she was blown away by his nonchalant attitude about how well he has done and Styles said it has been in his nature to stay humble.
"I try to stay humble and never assume anything," said Styles. "In this business, you can't. Things change so fast and you never know what's going to happen. So I just don't assume I'm that good. First of all, I don't believe I'm that great. I want to to be one day," he continued.
Styles said he gets mad at himself when he watches his own matches so he tries not to watch too many of them and he has learned from some of the guys he has been in the ring with at WWE.
According to Styles, while in the ring he focuses on making his co-workers look better than him.
"I do enjoy making the guy I'm in the ring with look like a destroyer. I get most satisfaction out of making someone else look good than making my own self look good," said Styles.
During the rest of the interview, AJ Styles shared about his home life growing up and how he got into professional wrestling after leaving college.
