Alberto Del Rio Talks Wrestling Future

In what seems to be an annual situation at this point, Alberto Del Rio has created some buzz.

Del Rio, who will now go by the name Alberto El Patron again, held a press conference following his WWE release to discuss a few things. His girlfriend Paige, who was suspended alongside him in August, was in attendance, but didn't answer questions.

El Patron noted that he's free to start working in Mexico immediately, and can return to working in the US next month. He doesn't have a no-compete clause, and is in talks with AAA, CMLL and Elite. Del Rio was adamant that he didn't want to work a full-time schedule, aiming for about 60 matches per year.

Alberto says that he's already considering retirement, targeting two years from now. He also said that he's in negotiations to be a president of an MMA promotion, and would like to work Arena Mexico.

When asked about the WWE, he said he's accomplished everything there is to achieve in the company, so there's no longer a challenge.
