Bianca Belair keeps her home in mind at NXT.
Mae Young Classic participant and NXT Wrestler Bianca Belair recently performed at a NXT Live Event in her hometown of Knoxville. In her high school days, she was a track star at a local area High School. In an interview with WBIR News 10 in Knoxville, Belair said her athleticism is only one of her talents she is using in the professional wrestling ring.
"I feel like I'm able to use all my talents, all of my abilities. I'm able to show my athleticism, I'm able to show my talents, my strength. I'm also able to show my creative side," said Belair.
Belair also revealed she has been a WWE and wrestling fan since childhood. Her and her brother both mentioned how they would perform wrestling moves on each other at home. As far as moving away from Knoxville and becoming a wrestler, Belair said she still thinks about her family and community while training.
"I owe it to my family. I owe it to my support system here in East Knoxville.It's just an amazing feeling to be able to come back," said Belair.
Also in the interview, Belair discussed what her moniker "the E-S-T in NXT" means and what it meant to perform in Knoxville. While she was in town, Belair spoke with more than one local media outlet.
