Braun Strowman says he is lucky to have a cool job.
In an interview with WTMJ-TV a local NBC affiliate, Braun Strowman was asked about his fast path to the main event. In his short career, Strowman has already challenged for the WWE Universal Championship and main-evented pay-per-views. Strowman said he cannot believe how fast things have moved for him.
"It's surreal, it's really surreal. I can't think of anything else to describe it. It's happened so fast, everything has taken off in such a positive way," said Strowman. "It's a dream. I'm living a fairy tale right now. To see the work I put in, to come across the screen, to relate to the fans, to being turned into video game characters and action figures, and to seeing my family around the world playing with my toys. I'm a country boy with a cool job. That's what it boils down to. I've been blessed; I've been lucky," he continued.
Strowman said he was in the right place at the right time and he believes he is only getting started. Also in the interview, Strowman talked about his connections to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the origin of his name.
Strowman spoke with the local news station in preparation for Raw being live from Milwaukee tonight. Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage and a recapping podcast for tonight's episode of Raw.
