Brock Lesnar may not be wrestling until July 9th (at Great Balls of Fire), but according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, you can expect this title reign to be different from his previous run.
When Lesnar was WWE champ between Summerslam of 2014 and WrestleMania 31, he only wrestled twice--at Night of Champions and at The Royal Rumble.
While today marks the 30th day of Brock Lesnar's current Universal Title reign, a violation of the vaunted "30 Day Rule," and while he will violate that rule twice more in the 68 days between now and Great Balls of Fire, Meltzer insists that Lesnar will be wrestling a lot more than last time.
Lesnar is scheduled to wrestle bothe GBofF and Summerslam in the coming months, but his other dates aren't solidified yet.
Also un-solidified are Lesnar's opponents. Last night, on Raw, both Seth Rollins and former Universal Champion Finn Balor expressed their desire to face Lesnar for the Universal title, and while Meltzer says that Lesnar will likely face both men at some point between now and WrestleMania 34, he's not expected to have a program with them any time soon. The thought is that Lesnar will be facing Braun Strowman at GBofF.
