Chris Jericho Appears At World Tag Leauge Finals, Lays Out Omega And Don Callis

Chris Jericho is full of surprises, and that was proven once again this morning.

After Kenny Omega and The Elite had won a match over Rocky Romero and Roppongi 3K, a new Chris Jericho video was shown, with him mostly talking about the Tokyo Dome. When the video finished, Jericho appeared in the ring and jumped him from behind, laying him out with the codebreaker. He grabbed the title and smashed it into his face, busting him open. He laid him out with another codebreaker and threw around anyone that tried to get in his way.

Don Callis exited the commentator's area to check on Omega, Jericho, who was starting to leave, saw this and didn't like it, re-entering the ring. Callis told him to hold off until the Toyko Dome. Jericho opted to lay him out instead. He beat on him until the Young Bucks made the save with baseball bats. Jericho left, but not before smearing Omega's blood on his face.

This does bring up Callis' future with New Japan, as he was stretchered out. With his new role within Impact Wrestling, this may be a way for him to be written out. Last word was he was planning on staying, but things could change.

Kenny Omega vs Chris Jericho for the United States title will be the co-main event for Wrestle Kingdom 12 on January 4 .
