Daniel Bryan Says Sami Zayn On SmackDown Isn't Working Out The Way He Planned, Sami Agrees

So last night, during Total Bellas, Daniel Bryan was Live Tweeting the episode, and decided to open things up to his fans in an impromptu Q & A session.

There were all kinds of questions, including ones about veganism, Bryan's shopping phobia, and how he likes being a stay-at-home dad. There were also tons of questions where the answers would lead one to believe that he already has one foot out the door and on his way to New Japan to become the sworn enemy of the Bullet Club.

But we'll talk about those answers later. We're going to focus on one specific question, with one very specific answer.

Now, Bryan could have just said, "Yes." But he didn't do that. Instead, he volunteered that he fought to get another wrestler on SmackDown Live, and it would appear that he's not too happy with the creative direction for that guy.

Since coming to SmackDown from RAW as part of the Superstar Shake-Up, Zayn has mostly been embroiled in lower mid-card feuds with Mike Kanellis and Aiden English. So it would stand to reason that Sami might agree with Daniel.

That's because he DOES agree with Daniel.

Hey, maybe after the latest "I'm not racist, you're racist, and to prove it, watch how racist I can be" promo from Jinder Mahal, maybe they're going to do some restructuring at the top of SmackDown, and there might be some room for Sami?

The fact that the answer to that is "almost certainly not," is the clearest sign that Daniel Bryan has no influence on what happens with the booking on the show that he is kayfabe in charge of.
