The future of EVOLVE is a bit murky at the moment following their issues with streaming service FloSlam and the famed leaked emails. A recent video posted on the WWNLive YouTube page didn’t do much to clear up the situation.
As you can see in the video, titled “EVOLVE. The End.” things are withering away, disappearing, and dying. There are two ways this video could be taken.
First, is that EVOLVE itself is in the process of withering away, disappearing, and dying.
According to PWinsider, this is not the case. While the company won’t run any shows in November, they are scheduled to hold events in the month of December. They had planned to hold events in Houston during Survivor Series weekend, but Hurricane Harvey damaged the venue. Their October 14 & 15 events will be streamed on WWNLive.com.
With the company still up and running, the other way to look at the video is to say, “You must evolve to live. That’s it. The end.”
This appears to be what the company is going for in the face of their issues with FloSlam and reports that Gabe Sapolsky threatened to fire talent over the leaked email. How the company plans to evolve moving forward remains to be seen.
As far as the battle between WWN and FloSlam goes, no progress has been made between the two sides as, according to court records, FloSlam has yet to serve WWN with a lawsuit. WWN has plans to counter sue once they are officially hit with a lawsuit.
