EXCLUSIVE: Mandy Leon Explains Tarot Card Segment

Recently on Ring Of Honor television, Mandy Leon gave a Tarot card to ROH broadcaster Ian Riccaboni.

As part of an exclusive interview with Fightful.com managing editor Sean Ross Sapp, Leon talked about the segment and what it means for her character, coming out of her feud against Taeler Hendrix.

Thunder Rosa: I Think It Is Time That Someone Who Is Not Selfish Finally Takes Care Of The AEW Women's Division

"The story behind that goes, Taeler put me through hell, so to say, in that no disqualification match. She keeps saying that there's a darkness within her, there's a darkness inside of her. Evil always beats good. The good in me was the reason I lost the no disqualification match and I realized that honor means nothing when it comes to wrestling a woman without honor. So I had to stoop to that level to be able to beat her and I did. I took care of her in the dark, so to say. I see it as cleansing the women's division of the dishonorable ones, and there is no more Taeler Hendrix, so there is no more dishonorable one. That card represented the death of the dishonorable one."

Leon thinks that the establishment of clear, compelling characters is crucial to the long-term success of the Women Of Honor division.

"I love to focus on the wrestling ability 100 percent but the character development is important to me too because I like to be the one that stands out and is different from everyone else," she said.
