Jeff Jarrett Says That GFW Owns Broken Gimmick, Reby Hardy Strongly Disagrees

During his media conference call today, GFW Chief Creative Officer Jeff Jarrett answered the inevitable query about the dispute between GFW's parent company, Anthem, and The Hardys over which party owns the rights to Matt Hardy's 'Broken' gimmick.

The Question: "Have the Hardys secured the rights to the Broken gimmick yet?"

Amir Khan On Potentially Crossing Over To WWE: That Is Something I’d Jump At

Jeff Jarrett's Answer: "No they haven't."

As usual, Reby Hardy begs to differ.

Matt's wife has not been shy about expressing her opinions about Jarrett, Anthem president Ed Nordholm and everyone at GFW, formerly TNA. Reby is even anti-owl, a reference to the short-lived owl-centric logo of Anthem's TNA reboot, and has created a hashtag #F-ckThatOwl, and t-shirts emblazoned with the slogan. The T-Shirts sold out almost immediately.

Well, now that Jeff Jarrett says there's no agreement in place for the Hardys to get the Broken gimmick back, Reby has a little something to say.

Actually, she has A LOT of something to say.

Reby then re-tweeted Hardy family friend, the recently-fired-from-Impact Shane Helms, who has had his own problems with Jarrett in the past.

So to sum up, Reby says that the Hardys had an agreement in place as of last week to reclaim the rights to the Broken gimmick and all that entails. Said agreement included a non-disparagement clause that fined Reby $5000 every time she Tweets something negative about Anthem or GFW.

But now that Jarrett has said that no agreement exists, Reby says everything is fair game.

So she proceeded to say that Jarrett knew what was going on between Alberto El Patron and Paige and decided to put the title on El Patron anyway

In case you haven't been paying attention, Alberto is accused of domestic assault against Paige and has now been suspended indefinitely by GFW.

Meanwhile, Matt Hardy has threatened that things are about to get "terribly nasty" unless an agreement is made soon.

There's no telling how or when this will end, but we will bring you all the latest developments.
