Despite being in demand from Hollywood, television and even an ESPY hosting gig, John Cena plans on being a WWE lifer.
Cena has been hitting the media obligations hard this week ahead of his ESPY appearance, and a common question keeps coming up. Will John Cena leave the WWE?
“I don’t plan on leaving the WWE ever. They’re in 180 countries, they have 650 million homes they reach each week, they have over half a billion social followers, Why in the name of whatever we believe in would I shut that off? They have such a powerful voice, such an excited fan base, and I actually love doing it," Cena told Extra. “I flew all through the day and night just to show up on 'Monday Night Raw' for a minute and a half last night and I loved it — I loved every second of it.”

While he says that he won't leave the WWE, Cena does know that the end of his WWE career could be coming sooner than later. Cena signed with entertainment company Leftfield Entertainment, who produced his show American Grit. Still, Cena wants to push forward and wrestle.
"I'm going to do this as long as I physically can. There is a definitive end in sight. But man, I'm gonna milk it for all that it's worth. And not like, 'I'm gonna hang on to my spot man.' ... I just want to be involved, I want to be able to contribute because the noise and the appreciation, like that is such wonderful psychology to be able to manipulate," Cena said during an interview with ABC News.
Cena is scheduled to team up with Enzo Amore & Big Cass to take on The Club at WWE Battleground on July 24.
