Mike Kanellis And Matt Hardy Take Shots At GFW

GFW is receiving serious criticism from former employees.

Mike Kanellis has been on WWE television since WWE Money in The Bank. Earlier this year he was wrestling at Global Force Wrestling (formerly known as Impact Wrestling) and last week Kanellis shed some light on why he left the promotion. On Twitter, a wrestling fan said Kanellis was still "a joke" and nothing had changed since he was in GFW. Kanellis responded with one important difference with his new employer.

Another former GFW employee Matt Hardy chimed in with more accusations against both his and Kanellis' former employer.

It is truly DELIGHTFUL to get your check every week, on time, without having to chase it down for months.

Kanellis continued the conversation by responding to Hardy with one of Hardy's own catch phrases.

One might even say it's..... WONDERFUL!!!! https://t.co/CVr1IETsJk

Hardy has had the most public contentions with GFW. Since his departure, Hardy has been in conversations and litigation with GFW over his "Broken Matt Hardy" character and other intellectual properties. Both GFW and Hardy have claimed ownership, tried to trademark the character, and failed.

Since joining WWE, Kanellis has been feuding with Sami Zayn. He was victorious twice on Smackdown Live but lost at WWE Battleground to Zayn. He almost re-signed with GFW but Zayn's former best friend Kevin Owens convinced Kanellis to wait for a WWE offer.

Kanellis can be seen on the Smackdown brand while Hardy and his brother Jeff Hardy have been featured on the Raw brand. Figtful Wrestling provides live coverage and recapping podcast for each show every week.
