Adrien Broner Arrested In Kentucky On Ohio Warrant

Former four-division world champion boxer, Adrien Broner, was arrested and placed in Kenton County Jail in Kentucky early Sunday morning.

TMZ Sports was the first to report the news of Broner's arrest, which originates from a warrant out of Cuyahoga County in Cleveland, Ohio, and stems from a 2018 sexual assault case. Broner pled guilty to the charges and judge Nancy Russo ordered him to pay $800k to the victim, something he never did, which led to him being arrested again in November 2020 for contempt of court. He currently remains in jail still at this time, with no bond being set, and Broner's team has yet to officially comment on the situation. The 32-year old Cincinnati, Ohio native is 34-4-1 as a pro and last competed back in February where he won a unanimous decision over Jovanie Santiago.
