Al Iaquinta Calls Tony Ferguson A Weirdo

Al Iaquinta was last seen in the Octagon at UFC 223, suffering a unanimous decision loss to UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Iaquinta was actually the third different fighter to be scheduled to fight Nurmagomedov at the event, with the other two being UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway and former UFC Interim Lightweight Champion Tony Ferguson.

Ferguson recently took the following shot at Iaquinta through Twitter, calling him a non-full time fighter and real estate agent:

 

The former UFC Interim Lightweight Champion even blasted UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker and Yoel Romero in the Twitter post.

While Whittaker and Romero have yet to respond, it cannot be said for Iaquinta, which would spark a Twitter battle:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Neither Ferguson or Iaquinta have a fight booked at the moment, so they could battle each other after Ferguson’s knee injury heals up.
