Former Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion Alistair Overeem has made a huge change to his professional MMA career and that comes in the form of a move to Team Elevation out of Denver, Colorado.
It was through Instagram that Overeem revealed the news:
Previous places that Overeem has trained at include Team Jackson-Winklejohn and the Blackzilians.
Overeem is currently in the midst of a two fight losing streak, with those losses coming to Curtis Blaydes and Francis Ngannou. Interestingly enough, one of Overeem's previous opponents in the aforementioned Blaydes also trains at Team Elevation, as Blaydes picked up a victory over Overeem via third round knockout at UFC 225. Overeem has also previously challenged for the UFC Heavyweight Title, losing to then champion Stipe Miocic at UFC 203.
