Highly touted UFC middleweight prospect, Bo Nickal, is expected to make his official promotional debut against Jamie Pickett at UFC 282 on December 10 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
ESPN's Brett Okamoto was the first to report the news of the matchup being in the works, although the promotion itself has yet to officially announce anything regarding the booking or event. Nickal was a three-time NCAA Division I National Champion wrestler during his time at Penn State University and has become one of the most hyped young fighters in the sport after turning pro in June 2022. He's coming off of back-to-back first-round submission victories on Dana White's Contender Series over Donovan Beard and Zachary Borrego. Pickett on the other hand is also a DWCS alum himself and has gone 2-4 in his six Octagon outings and will try to rebound from a second-round TKO loss to Dennis Tiuliulin at UFC 279.
