UFC featherweight contenders Calvin Kattar and Arnold Allen are scheduled to headline a yet-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night event on October 29 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
ESPN's Brett Okamoto was the first to report the news of the matchup being in the works, confirming the booking with UFC President Dana White. Kattar is 3-2 in his last five Octagon appearances and is coming off of a split-decision loss to Josh Emmett at UFC Austin. Allen on the other hand is undefeated since signing with the promotion back in June 2015, going 9-0 in his nine UFC bouts, and will look to build off of a first-round TKO victory over Dan Hooker back at UFC Fight Night 204.
