Former UFC title challenger and longtime MMA veteran Chael Sonnen was detained by police and given five citations for battery after his role in an alleged altercation in a Las Vegas hotel this past Saturday night.
TMZ Sports was the first to report the news of the incident and according to what a witness told them, Sonnen allegedly engaged in some sort of conflict with a couple in the Four Seasons Hotel, but the specifics of the altercation are still being investigated by the police. TMZ also provided a video that shows Sonnen being escorted out of the hotel by cops, while placed in handcuffs, but he ultimately wasn't arrested as law enforcement officials continue to look into what happened.
