Former IBO super-middleweight champion, Chris Eubank Jr. and undefeated welterweight prospect, Conor Benn, are set to reignite one of British boxing's legendary rivalries when they clash this fall.
The Sun Sports' Chisanga Malata reported back in July that a matchup between Eubank Jr. and Benn was in the works, with Matchroom Boxing officially announcing on Tuesday that the fight is set for October 8 and will take place from the O2 Arena in London, England. The two will be meeting in a 156-pound catchweight bout nearly 29 years to the day of their father's, former two-division world champions Chris Eubank and Nigel Benn's classic rematch that went to a draw.

Eubank Jr. is currently 32-2 overall as a pro and is currently riding a six-fight winning streak. He's coming off a unanimous decision victory over Liam Williams back in February in his latest appearance. Benn meanwhile is undefeated so far in his pro career, sitting at 21-0, and will look to build on a second-round TKO win over former IBO welterweight champ, Chris van Heerden, back in April.
