Chris Weidman wants to put the hurt on Khamzat Chimaev.
Chimaev has been looking for a new challenge ever since he destroyed Gerald Meerschaert at UFC Vegas 11. He may have a foe to face in former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman. Weidman took to Twitter to call out Chimaev and asked for a fight in January.

Chimaev responded to Weidman’s call-out on Twitter, roasting him for needing so much time to preapre.
“Whenever you want I will smash you. I don’t understand why you need so long time ? If u are a fighter you must always be ready”
The UFC reportedly has two cards set for January that could serve as potential battlegrounds for a Weidman vs. Chimaev fight at middleweight.
