Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor and former UFC interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier are nearly set to meet for a second time on January 23.
Although the bout has yet to be made official, a poster for the fight has been released on Instagram by McGregor.
McGregor would like to see the rematch happen at AT&T Stadium in Texas, but UFC President Dana White is not onboard with the idea.
Poirier and McGregor first met over six years ago at UFC 174 in September of 2014, with McGregor scoring a first-round TKO victory over Poirier on that night. The duo has gone on to win a total of three championships since their initial meeting, but no gold will be on the line for the rematch.
