Conor McGregor Signs For Dustin Poirier Trilogy Fight At UFC 264

Conor McGregor has done his part by signing the contract to face Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.

The "Notorious" One posted on social media that the trilogy fight is booked for July 10. This comes after Poirier reportedly signed the bout agreement.

McGregor, who is 1-2 since returning to action in 2018, lost to Poirier via TKO back in January at UFC 257. Poirier used calf kicks to break down McGregor and landed crushing blows to take him down. The former double-champion in McGregor beat Poirier in their first fight against one another at UFC 178 in 2014.

Poirier is on a two-fight win streak. "The Diamond" opted to fight McGregor instead of taking a bout for the UFC lightweight title. He is hoping to win the trilogy bout and face the winner of Charles Oliveira-Michael Chandler at UFC 262 for the vacant title.

There is no set location yet for UFC 264, but UFC President Dana White is hoping it takes place in Las Vegas with a live crowd.
