Although the bout has yet to be officially announced, odds makers have already put out betting lines for the champion versus champion encounter.
Bovada has listed their early betting odds for the super fight, listing Cyborg at -300 and Nunes at +230, meaning that the women’s featherweight champion is a 3 to 1 favorite over the women’s bantamweight champion.
Speaking of Cyborg, one thing she has been making clear as of late is that the potential super fight against Nunes may be the Brazilian’s final bout under the UFC banner.
“I believe (Nunes) will be my last fight in the UFC,” Cyborg said on Combate News. “My contract goes until March, and with me waiting to fight in December, I think it will be the last one people will see me fight.”
If Cyborg does indeed leave the UFC after the potential Nunes bout, it would again leave the women’s featherweight division without a champion if Nunes doesn’t become a double champion and capture the gold.
